Selig (Suffolk) Trust is a registered charity (number 1157245) that runs Suffolk Hope into Action.
From 2011/12 to 2021/22, we also ran the Ipswich Winter Night Shelter.
During the winter of 2022/23, our winter night shelter will not be running.
Rob Darrington: Vice President of Marketing for a manufacturer of specialist scientific equipment. Rob has volunteered as a leader with young person’s holiday camps and is also a Trustee for a local educational charity. Rob is Chair of Trustees.
Jonathan Goldthorpe: Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer at an insurance company in London.
Reverend Mervyn Dye: A retired Management Accountant, Mervyn champions our Ipswich Hope into Action project. He is an Anglican Minister at St. Peter Stoke Park Ipswich.
Andy Turpin: Is one of our volunteer night shelter church coordinators. Andy has a professional background in IT service, project and team management. He champions our night shelter project.
Elizabeth Whitehead: is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and has specialised in employment law for over 20 years. She is a Director of a local law firm and a volunteer Trustee of a local academy.
Anthony Sheppard: is a retired solicitor with considerable experience of housing organisations. He is involved with several local charities and has a keen interest in faith based outreach.
Debbie Charles: Is our newest trustee. She works as the local Territorial Community Engagement Lead for the Salvation Army and she is also one of our night shelter volunteers.
