The Ipswich Winter Night Shelter has relied on donations from local churches, groups, companies and individuals in order to run for the last 8 years.

Last year we received some funding support from the  Government (via Ipswich Borough Council). This  covered most of the costs associated with opening for an extra 8 weeks (see more here). This year we will receive funding from them again to open for an extra 6 weeks. We will be reliant on local support in order to run the shelter for the rest of the winter.

The Ipswich Winter Night Shelter is one of Selig (Suffolk) Trust’s projects. Selig is a registered charity (number 1157245) delivering two church based projects in and around Ipswich. You can read more about Selig’s work in Suffolk here.
